"Truckin' in the Park" is an event to support Community Lifeline Center in McKinney. Community Lifeline Center steps assists local residents to manage crises and navigate their way back to self-sufficiency. This assistance ranges from financial help—rent, utilities, food, medical or prescription assistance—to job search training, credit and budget counseling, and advocacy. Community Lifeline Center also promotes special projects throughout the year such as collecting and distributing holiday meals.

Truckin' in the Park is an event to promote the organization and raise funds. BYO will provide free live music to enhance the event. Jamie Beckerich is the BYO Jam Poobah for this event. He is looking for two or three BYO groups who can present a well rehearsed set of rock or acoustic music during the three hour event.
